Jupiter Island, a barrier island that partially belongs to Palm Beach County on the South side and Martin County on the North Side. It was ranked as having the highest per capita income of any place in the country. Tiger Woods, Ricky Fowler, Rory McIlroy, Alan Jackson, Greg Norman, and Celine Dion are a few of the celebrities that have been residents of the island. The island is approximately 9 miles long and has only two access points. About 400 sprawling estates are located throughout the island, and condos are mostly on the south end, in the Palm Beach County part. The very southern tip of the Island is its own municipality, called Jupiter Inlet Colony.
